A poster for the production of Marina Carr’s By the Bog of Cats, an adaptation of the story of Medea set on a wintery Irish landscape. At the top of the play the protagonist, Hester, finds her beloved swan dead in the ice and drags her body back home to give her a proper burial. The swan is an omen of things to come. The image is an amalgamation of found/created textures including a photograph of the Boston Fens, take during the great 2015 winter storm.
